December 14, 2022 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (EST)

Description

December 14, 2022 | 12:00pm CST/1:00pm EST | 60 minutes

What is lender liability and what could trigger a claim? Financial advisors, turnaround practitioners, and credit professionals need to understand the limits of a lender's ability to direct the debtor's business. Join this session for a high-level overview of lender liability, an examination of lender liability adjudication case studies, and a discussion of how lenders, turnaround professionals, and attorneys can be on the lookout for lender liability claims in their own work. Experts Rob Katz, CTP, EisnerAmper LLP, Michael Lichtenstein, Shulman Rogers, and Frank Turner, CTP, KCP Advisory Group, will outline the basic components of lender liability so that you can identify when to engage counsel on behalf of your client.

1.2 CPE credits in Regulatory Ethics are available. The program level is Basic and no prerequisites are required to attend.
CTAs and CTPs can earn 1.2 CEU credits by attending.
